Dear friend,
March was filled with fun and celebrations. It started with our belated Valentine's Date Night. We had six couples over for games and such. It was a lot of fun!
Summer and Smith auditioned, were selected, and performed beautifully at the Fairfield County Chorus festival.
Our dear Rose decided to enter into covenants with our Heavenly Father and be baptized. We are so proud of her and it was such fun having my parents and the Hawks join us for the fun.
We also held our fourth annual "Pies and Poetry" night. We had a great turn out, fantastic performances and lots of delicious pies!
I hosted the Hindley Heritage Night for the fifth time. We had 30 booths and a great turnout.
We held an awesome late-night for all the Valiant Activity Girls in the ward.
One of our sweet chickens died. I knew this would be part of the process, but it was a little more challenging than expected. The other four chickens are healthy and growing. They have now been moved to the garage.
The rest of the month was filled with other little wonderful moments. Rose has taken to texting Jennifer Wilcox, Joy and I enjoyed a sweet sick day and Summer, Elias and I got to go serve food at a food shelter one Saturday. The kids continue to do sports. Summer and Smith were both in the middle school production of "Little Women". Summer was playing Marme and Smith was Professor Bhaer, but unfortunately some things happened with the director and the play had to be cancelled a week before the performance. But they would have been fantastic!
