March 2023

 Dear friend,

March has been a wonderful month of friends and family.  The month began with a great Erickson Girls Trip in New Orleans.  Kate lives there and was an amazing host as she showed us around town.

Another amazing highlight from this month was a long-weekend with the Hawks, Packers, and my parents in Philadelphia.  We had wonderful time exploring the city, learning about history, giving reports, and playing with cousins.
Another weekend I took the kids down to Richmond to see the temple open house.  We stopped by DC on the way to down to have lunch with my parents and see the Declaration of Independence.
We enjoyed a wonderful evening and morning with the Sedwicks before heading to the temple and driving home.
The rest of the month was filled with wonderful times at home.
We have been talking about recognizing the unappreciated people in our lives and the kids wrote some great letters to the school lunch ladies and custodians.
We've been exploring at the beach and preparing our beehive in preparation for our bees' arrival.
We had some cooking adventures like when Elias made homemade noodles.  There were delicious!
We are doing a family challenge to not eat sweets for an entire year.  I insisted that we get one day a month to have sugar so we can celebrate birthdays and such.
Elias is still healing from his surgery so his girls are quick to take care of him.
Rose gave him a spa treatment and painted his toenails.
Another great month.  Love you all,
Brittany et al.
