June 2008: Another month of travels

After saying goodbye to our home in Provo, we packed everything we owned into our Camry and began our journey to California. We made sure to stop in St. George to spend the night at the Pink Palace and enjoy Cafe Rio one more time while we could!

We then went on to Corona Del Mar and spent a few days with Jeff and Eve at their beach house.

We then traveled to L.A. and Pasadena for Jonathan & Rachel's wedding dinner and sealing. We then parked our car (with all of our belongings still in it) in an airport parking lot and flew out to D.C. to spend 10 days in the D.C. home.

We attended a James Bond Outdoor Film Festival

Visited Brittany's favorite Eastern Market and used bookstore.

Attended the National BBQ Battle of 2008

And competed in every promotional competition there was winning tons of free junk!

After flying back to L.A. we were please to see our car had not been stolen! We drove everything up to Hollister and stayed with Matt's parents for a few days while we looked for a home in Menlo Park. The Hawks were kind enough to hold on to our stuff while we moved to New Jersey.
